Control Manager

The Display Manager allows users to dynamically change the arrangement and display modes of the monitors attached to their computers. Applications can use the Display Manager API to optimize window arrangements and to optimize screen imaging according to the available display modes. (Display mode characteristics include the refresh rate, number of onscreen pixels, and scan timings for displays.)
